20.10.2017 Lakka. Paxos

Beau temps, mais beaucoup de rosée le matin, nous avons oublié nos sandales dehors et elles sont toutes mouillées. Nous sommes 22 bateaux ancrés dans la baie et une dizaine au quai ce matin. Après le petit-déjeuner nous restons un peu à « travailler » tous les deux. Jens inspecte et répare et moi je mets les photos que je n’avais pas pu mettre hier dans le blog. C’est lent et cela prend du temps. Puis nous partons en promenade, nous voulons traverser l’ile. De nombreux petits chemins sillonnent l’ile mais certains sont à moitié abandonnés et ne sont guère praticables. Nous avons une carte et le GPS sur la tablette. Belle promenade et belle vue de l’autre côté. Retour à Hera II, baignade et lunch. Nous avons marché deux heures. A 13 h, nous ne sommes plus que 5 bateaux ancrés et aucun au quai du village. C’est que la majorité des bateaux sont des charters, des bateaux loués à la semaine. La grande compagnie de location ici s’appelle « Sailing Holidays », et ces bateaux retournent à leur base le vendredi pour effectuer un changement d’équipage le samedi. C’est tout tranquille. Bricolage pour Jens et bricolage pour moi (photos) l’après-midi. Baignade, douche, ouzo et diner des restes d’hier. Nous partons demain vers le sud.

Nous nous habituons bien à Hera II, nous nous rappelons où sont les choses, comment tout fonctionne et nous nous sentons bien chez nous.

Good weather, but a lot of dew in the morning, we forgot our sandals outside and they are all wet. We are 22 yachts anchored in the bay and about 10 at the dock this morning. After breakfast we stay a little on the boat, both "working". Jens inspects and fixes things and I put the pictures that I could not put yesterday in the blog. It's slow and it takes time. Then we go for a walk, we want to cross the island. Many paths crisscross the island but some are half abandoned and hardly practicable. We have a map and GPS on the tablet. Nice walk and beautiful view on the other side. Back to Hera II, swimming and lunch. We walked two hours. At 1 pm, we are no more than 5 anchored boats and none at the village quay. The majority of boats are charter boats which are rented by the week. The big rental company here is called Sailing Holidays, and these boats return to base on Friday to make a crew change on Saturday. It's all quiet. “Work” for Jens and “work” for me (photos) in the afternoon. Swimming, shower, ouzo and dinner of leftover from yesterday. We are leaving tomorrow to the south.

We get used to Hera II, we remember where things are, how everything works and we feel at home.
